MATERIAL DROPS

Nikoletta Lekka was born in Ioannina, but grew up and studied in Volos. After graduating from the Departure of Architecture, University of Thessaly, she decided to start designing her own line of jewelry in parallel with her occupation as an architect.  

The inspiration that led to the creation of the material drops jewelry line is the result of the composure of two elements, - and u . Two elements that define and surround the woman’s breast on the famous figurines of two powerful civilizations of Ancient Greece, the Cycladic and the Minoan civilization.

Woman, in the Ancient Greek society was a synonym for fertility and the creation of life.

Respectively nowadays a woman’s breast is a symbol for femininity, fertility and life, as exempt from protecting our heart inside it, it is man’s first food.
